Posted By Adam Worth Hi all At the end of last summer I started the thread below (http://www.iosh.org/index.cfm?go=discussion.view&forum=2&thread=22979) and successfuly got offered work on a four month contract, this has been extended but now I’m back (I have due to technical difficulties lost contact details for some of the people who asked me to contact them when I was available for work again (If this was you please contact me again... and my apologies) I am currently working for a large chemical plant that is Top Tier COMAH and iPPC. I have been involved in projects for both My role has been to assist the QSHE manager and this has led to an exciting and dynamic 6 months where I have learnt a lot from a respected and experienced Safety practitioner and been involved in and championed projects for the HSE and EA I am now looking to further, further my career, and seek a role that will enable me to gain qualifications preferably the NEBOSH diploma and more experience I am willing to discuss all offers and am happy to compromise on salary for training. Posted By Descarte Quite a few of the major pharma companies in the UK take on EH+S placements for upto 1year, normally starting around sept though for sandwich and under/post grads. Would be worth enquiring IMO GL
