Posted By Kevin Mclaughlan Hello all, I am currently looking for part time work in the central Scotland area and i live in Dunfermline. I am currently the health, safety & environmental Manager on The Royal Yacht Britannia which is now a very popular visitor attraction permanently moored in Edinburgh. I have enjoyed this position for 4 years now and prior to this i spent 15 years as a shipwright (steel fabricator / joiner) refurbishing warships in Rosyth dockyard and 2 years as a joiner on various sites. I have established and maintained an HSE management system from scratch and gained a silver award from Visit Scotlands green tourism board scheme for our environmental performance. I am now looking for a fresh challenge and to broaden my horizons. I currently work Tuesdays to Fridays so i am looking for any part time work on the days i am off. In addition to those days there is also scope with my current employer to reduce my hours and also if a suitable full time position is out there that would also be considered. I hold an NVQ 4 in OHS, both Nebosh general and fire safety and risk management certificates along with the IEMA associate certificate in environmental management and assessment. I am looking for any consultancy, advisory or managerial opportunities that may be out there. If you know of any such opportunities please drop me a line. I am keen and reliable and looking for a break CV and references are available on request. Many thanks and kind regards, Kevin kevinm@tryb.co.uk
