Hi All,
I have just started in business as a self employed Health & Safety Adviser specialising in the Motor Trade.
Can anyone suggest how I could ensure that my site surveys/audit reports and guidance are verified as seen and understood by my clients.
I suppose I could use a generic template for this type of work to confirm receipt and understanding of my report in the form of a letter to be signed and dated by the client. I do intend to provide a follow-up service for clients to confirm understanding and provide further advice or services from shortfalls found in the site survey.
There could be legal implications for me not to have a system in place to prove the client's receipt of my post survey reports and additional hard copy guidance from the HSE.
Any advice or suggestions would be very welcome.
Regards
Mike

Michael,
I am intrigued; what are the legal implications that worry you regarding the clients not sending you acknowledgements that they have received your reports?
Regards Adrian
