Specific duties included, but are not limited too, the following: • Undertaking Health, Safety and Environmental Audits at Clients sites and preparing management reports to identify corrective actions. • Conducting follow up visits after Audits to ensure corrective actions are adequately closed out. • Reviewing Sub-Contractor Risk Assessments and Method Statements and monitoring compliance with specified, agreed Safe Systems of Work. • Review and development of Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans. • Conducting accident and incident investigations and devising corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence. • Liaison with Enforcement Authorities, Clients and Contractors during construction and refurbishment projects. • Provision of Health, Safety and Environmental Advice to Clients and Contractors on a number of large retail and leisure construction and refurbishment projects. Main areas of work were within the construction industry covering new build and refurbishment projects. Projects were located across England and Wales and ranged from minor, short duration fit outs to long term new build units and heavy refurbishment projects. Gained experience of demolition work and asbestos removal works mainly within inner cities and towns.
