Posted By Rosalind Davis Although passed as Tech IOSH, I have not had to complete the CPD cycle before. I am trying to start in the scheme and organise my plan but wondered if anyone in a similar situation may be able to give me an example of their plan to start the ball rolling. I have had a look at the CPD made simpled guide would appreciate an example to assist with the process. Any help gratefully appreciated. I was due to start my cycle in January 07 but have not put anything on the system. I work mornings only so trying to complete all that is necessary in these times is proving challenging.

Posted By FJ If you do a "search" you will find this has been discussed many times on these forums. My only advice is "try doing what you would like to do/ believe it will work! "- its much easier than you may be lead to believe.

Posted By Catherine Ince I had the same problem - my first few looks at it were enough to put me off it. However, I sat down last week and drew up a plan, based on objectives given to me in my new job. These include visiting my new sites, carrying out re-audits of these sites, familiarisation with the organisation H&S portfolio, attendance at an environmental conference, attending compulsory (non-H&S) training, etc. It wasn't that difficult, just a bit time consuming. Now I have started, it is fairly quick to update progress and add new items. Try and set aside a couple of hours (not easy, I know) and go for it!
