Posted By John Watson Diane Hi, any reason you (or your client) wants this course as opposed to IOSH MS? Regards John

Posted By Diane Hello John, Thanks for the reply - no, as long as the alternative can be sold as easily to the clients requiring that level of training. Many Thanks Diane

Posted By Diane Thanks again John - I think these people are attracted to the cieh one as it's far cheaper and shorter duration. And Yes - I obviously agree with you - there's nothing quite like the Nebosh way is there !? for the real depth that's required, but I suppose it depends on the actual depth you DO require. They don't want to be health and safety consultants ... just competent within their workplace as someone who's being given health and safety responsibility. Also, more often than not, the employer is footing the bill which is where some priorities change position. Anyway, thanks again John, Diane

Posted By David J Bristow Dianne The CIEH Advanced Health and Safety Course is a higher level (level 3), (with all respect) to the IOSH MS (level 2 I think!)course. The CIEH Advanced course is delivered over a longer time with a 3 hour exam at the end of the course. I haven't delivered the CIEH course for some time now but if you require, I could supply costs and it could be delivered at a time convenient to you on your premises. Hope this helps Regards David B

Posted By Diane Hello David Thanks for your reply. Think we might have a couple of wires crossed (easy isn't it !) I do actually deliver the Advanced myself - but don't have a date set for the next course at the mo, and have a couple of candidates wanting to do the course asap. That's the reason for looking for someone that runs the course more often, so that I can pass them on. Clear as mud ? ha Thanks anyway Diane Hi John - will email you direct from my default email address. Cheers Diane
