Posted By MP Grayson Morning all. I've been in the H/S world full time for two years and three months and make regular visits to the Hairdressers to have my silver highlights touched up. I have the Nebosh Level 6 Diploma and I'm halfway through the EM Dip. I have an engineering background (25 years mending aeroplanes) and currently work in a prison as the Health and Safety, Environmental and Fire Officer. I’m happy with the job although the pay is not too great, so I'm not looking to jump ship just yet. However, I am now two years into my three year plan and I am considering going down the route of delivering Health and Safety training as a full time job, especially level 2 or 3. I know some colleges etc have part time instructors for evening classes and I think that maybe an opening, allowing me to test the water. I currently deliver level 1 to all new staff at the establishment where I work, but it’s too easy and not floating my boat, I want more. Any advise please (even if its DON’T DO IT). I live in the Newark (yes I know it’s an anagram) Grantham and Mansfield area although working in a prison I am not going to say exactly where on this page. Mark
