Posted By Alejandro Esquivel Greetings. I just got hired by a large company in the Oil Industry and this will be my first time in the UK. I should begin in September. I just discovered the IOSH and NEBOSH websites and the International Diploma in Occ. Health and Safety caught my eye. How long does it usually take to complete the program and how critical is this diploma in advancing in the UK industry. Thanks. A Mexican Yankee on his way to the UK.

Posted By Hazel Harvey Alejandro, If you are already a CSP then you may not need to take any formal qualifications as IOSH have an arrangment with the BCSP. The International Diploma is really designed for work outside the UK. If you are working here and need a qualification have a look at the 'About Membership' section of this website and you will find a list of suitable qualifications. If I can help further please contact me directly. Hazel Harvey Director of Professional Affairs
