Can someone give me advice on salary expectations in Southern Ireland.

I have almost three years experience in safety, MSc in Occ Health and a Cert in Risk Management and looking to move to Dublin area.

Thanks

That Euros..... POC just noticed your post indicates 3 years experience so I would suggest lower end of the scale €45 K

I've almost five years experience of H&S in the food industry and I'm earning 40k (Euros) in Dublin. Must start looking for a better job myself!!

40K will give you a great standard of living on just that salary - look to the west coast sligo, galway, loads of work ! I'm off with the Mrs as soon as I can, best place to be in Europe !

As an Irishman, I can confirm that there is quite a lot of work out there esp in Leinster/Munster.

40k euro however, is not a whole lot of cash, especially if you have the norm- kids, house etc to support- the standard of living is much higher in the Republic than it is in the North of Ireland.

But as a place- you couldn't beat it with a big stick as we say!!

I was on 40 out there 4 years ago and lived a great life. I had forgotten however that I wasn't married then.....

....and lived in bit of a sty as per the single batchelor....

Still better over there though by a mile even if it is monopoly euro money !

Whats the average going rate now then ?
