Posted By maxmillan maddy Hello Everyone I have enrolled on the nebosh health and safety in construction which is due to start on the 26th of feb next year. I want to be a health and safety advisor in the construction industry but unfortunately i do not have any construction background. Would it go against me with regards to looking for employment? Moreover can anyone advice on what course to go on next after completion of my nebosh course. My main goal is to become a health and safety in construction consultant.

Posted By Ian.M Dear Maxmillan, I believe that if you have a goal, then go for it. I entered this industry by accident and have been very successful thus far. Don't be put off by experience as experience comes with time and hard work. Nothing is impossible and everything is achievable you just have to know what direction you want to take and where you want your destination to be. Best of luck. We've all been there. Regards, Ian CMIOSH
