The company I'm currently working for is struggling at present so I am trying to be pro-active, and looking around for other opportunities to ply my trade, whether that be in a full-time, contract or consultancy role. I've been working in the EHS field for almost 10 years now, mainly in Medical Device/Pharma/Manufacturing in Ireland. I've extensive experience in all aspects of Health & Safety, especially Hazardous Chemicals/Drugs/Pharmaceuticals, Industrial Hygiene (Noise & Haz Agent Exposure) & related control strategies, as well as a comprehensive background in OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 implementation. I've also managed to develop excellent construction safety (main contractor) experience in the last 12 months. It has been suggested by a couple of colleagues that my experience is broad enough to enable me to work in a consultancy role. However this type of position hasn't really cropped up at this stage.
