Posted By steven n I have only been in the job I am in now for 2 months (I kind of rushed into things even though in my head I knew it was too far to travel with no expenses) Do you think this would put off potential employers?

Posted By ITK Steven, I think as long as you are honest with a potential employer about your reasons for leaving I am sure it would not be detrimental. Have you tried the SHP4jobs website... ITK

Posted By steven n Do you think I should let my manager know of my intention to leave as he is booking me on all kinds of courses, or would that be career suicide?

Posted By peter gotch Hi Steven Until you have at least one iron in the fire, career suicide UNLESS you have a sympathetic boss who realises that you have gone as far with you develoment as is possible with your current employer. [They do exist!] Regards, Peter

Posted By jmc Steven, Don`t tell Your boss anything until You Know Your getting a definite start with another company. Or if You stick with the commute for a little longer your course`s may give You the experience You need to pick a job nearer You. Have a think about it Training & experience (there`s no substitute) Good luck mate
