Posted By Ian Cunningham I'm currently in the market for work after leaving my last employer after 20+ years, H&S related since 1996. I hold the NGC, along with various risk assessor certificates and a CIEH trainer certificate. I'm currently studying for my Level 6 Diposh. I'm considering a move into consultancy - along the area of general and fire r.a's, H&S training etc and some other areas that I have experience in. Insurance is obviously a key issue in my thinking but to be honest, I haven't a clue who to look at, types of insurance to obtain and for what cover. Even if I go into contract work via a well known agency, I'm still required to obtain insurance, but before talking to them and getting 'directed' towards their 'preferred' insurer, I'd thought I guage the opinions of my peers! Any ideas etc?? Regards Ian C

Posted By Hazel Harvey Ian, In our techncial information section are two new guides for consultants. There is one for members considering setting up as a consultant and one for people needing a consultant. If you enter 'Consultant'in the search above you'll get to them.
