Thompson Hi, I completed my nebosh last year, after being a safety rep for about 5 years, and an acting safety coordinator for a further 2 years, only for my employer to tell me they will never employ a full time safety coordinator. Although I have gained most of my safety experience within the steel industry, I would be happy to enter another industry. I have a strong desire for my career path to continue in health and safety, and would be willing to start at the bottom and work up if that is what is required, I just need a company that is willing to give me the chance.
