Posted By tonyo I have a dilemma! I have 7 days to decide in how best to spend my previous companies employment grant. I have currently got the NEBOSH General, I have a maximum of £1000 to spend on a course which will support me in my next job role, I am seeking a career in Health and Safety and was wondering could anyone help me decide or advise me on what course maybe more suitable for someone starting a career in H&S. Cheers Tony

Posted By COLIN BLACKMAN why not do both? .I done the construction cert in 2005 and last year done the fire cert module. If you have done the general cert within last five years then you may be exempt from taking the management of health and safety paper again. If you take the distance learning route then by shopping around your budget could cover the cost of both construction and fire modules i would however check with nebosh first.
