Posted By Zara Tippins I'm looking for a position in South Wales, preferably as a trainee Health and Safety Officer, but I have been in H & S administration, so anything in that department would certainly be of interest too. I have worked for almost five months as a temporary Health and Safety Administrator with a national company (dealing largely in Waste Management), assisting the H & S Advisors, co-ordinating accident and incident reporting procedures, desk-based Duty of Care audits, filling in customer questionnaires, providing information and advice to colleagues and customers, etc. I've also shadowed Advisors on site audits, attended seminars and passed the IOSH Managing Safely certificate with good marks. I would welcome any opportunity to progress in Health and Safety, in any industry, and would be very willing to study for further qualifications, such as the NEBOSH General certificate.
