Hi Everybody
Looking for advice, I am shortly taking up a new position with environmental responsibilities as well as H+S. Been involved in H+S for 10 years plus, gone down the Nebosh qualification route (NGC - Diploma), but this is my first time with Environmental duties attached. Anyone got any advice on training courses which may be relevant - looked at Nebosh env diploma / IEMA associate cert etc, anyone got any good / bad views on these. Environment I'm going into is FMCG, modern factory type situation.
Thanks
DJ

Have a look at the IOSH training courses book for this year. They have various courses in relation to Environmental management, this may suit you as you can pick the most relevant areas to start with.

this week i am on the first week of a Norwich Union Risk Services Intergrated Environmental Management course. 1st week is IOSH manging enviro responsibilities, 2nd week is IEMA cert and 3rd week gives you Nebosh Dip...
You can choose to do one week, 2 or 3 at different times...
3 diff quals in 3 weeks...good going i think...reasonably price dand a damn good tutor too...

I'd go for a course that gives associate membership of IEMA. Having been on it, I can certainly recommend the course run by EEF South.
