Posted By Damion Smith Hello As a former construction worker who has successfully completed an ONC in Building Studies and the first year of a HNC in Construction Management I am looking for information about possible opportunities within the construction industry in South Wales. I am interested in a Health & Safety role as it will allow me to combine the talents I have developed in college. I have a NEBOSH construction and IOSH Managing Safely certificate. I also intend to gain the NEBOSH Diploma as soon as I have finished my HNC.I am an Affiliate member of IOSH and the CIOB. I feel it is important for me to maintain a practical, real – world perspective while developing my academic abilities. I am proud of the fact that I have financed my entire mature education, and allowed myself this opportunity. I would be happy to give up my time on Fridays to shadow and gain experience as I hope this will open the door to employment opportunities. Although I have not worked in the construction sector for a few years, I gained a great deal of practical experience from the time I spent employed as a construction worker. I hope the experience and education described here may suggest how I might be of service to potential employers. If anyone has any information or advice for me you can Email me at damionjsmith@googlemail.com Thank you Damion Smith
