I am a HND qualified automotive engineer (Artificer WO2) and I am coming very close to the end of a full career (22+ yrs) in the Corps of Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (REME). I hold the NEBOSH L3 Gen Cert and I am working towards a BSc L6 DipOSH (first exam next week). I consider myself an experienced risk assessor/controller and hope to take all my H&S experience into a new H&S career after I leave the army. Security vetted to level: SC (valid to 2014) From Oct 08 to Feb 09 I am free to take on some job placements to gain civilian work experience if I can find a company that will help me. All I am looking for is about 1 to 2 weeks along side your H&S SME to see how things are done on the civilian side. Nothing complicated. Ideally I would like to work in the West Wiltshire area (Warminster, Westbury, Trowbridge, Bath or Bristol) but would consider any offers that added value to my CPD.
