I have a NEBOSH Dip , MSc in Energy and Environmental Management and a BSc (Hons) Environmental Management, im also a Lead Auditor for ISO 14001/9001. Im currently work as a HSE Coordinator for a feed manufacturing company - the title is a bit misleading - basically I manage all aspects of health, safety and environment. I also have experience of project management, capital investment and managing annual budget in excess of £1 million. I believe im not getting paid enough for the role im currently in - my salary is approx £28,000 plus company pension, health care and death in service. I was talking to a mate who is just back from Bahrain and he said they are crying out for H & S professionals and paying them a fortune tax free? Im interested in exploring all possible opportunities. Can anyone assist with websites or experiences of working abroad in an HSE type role. Also, are there other H & S courses out there that would assist in my future employment abroad such as fire safety, security? Cheers
