Posted By martin park hi i intend to study the nebosh genral certficate in september and convert to fire safety and management. would it be a good idea to do the iosh managing safety as well? what other courses could i do in association with nebosh> thanks martin

Posted By peter gannaway Depends on your previous experience of h&s study. For the amount of time involved Mg Safely is a useful grounding, and you will find topics in NEBOSH Cert which will sound all the more familiar for having gone through Mg Safely. Mg Safely will give you big picture stuff that will make sense of the more detailed work in Cert, likewise Cert is bigger picture than Dip and so on. Diploma is what you are aiming for though. Take in one step at a time, I'm not academic, but by focussing on the hurdle in front I started with an intro h&s and ended up with an MSc.
