Posted By joshua I intend to spend five days of my holiday starting first week of december which I intend to spend in dubai functioning in a H&S role for free. I have been functioning in this role for some years now with the following responsiblites: Setting policy: - My role here entails setting standard. The objective is to reduce accidents. Working to and following safe systems of work, Hazard identification, reporting near misses and unsafe conditions. Supervisory responsibilities: - Have carried out safety briefing, investigated incidents and near misses, implemented control measures and safe systems of work. Measuring performance: - I measure performance using the active and reactive monitoring approach. Audit & Review: - I audited the organizational policy and systems to see if we are actually achieving the right results and I also review organizational activities and see how to improve performance. Training: - I was actively involved in the training team for staff on Health and Safety; I also implemented a safe working procedure for staff working aside normal working hours etc. NB: I just intend to do something very unusual, away from money, money thing.... any useful information in this regards should be forwarded to kutejoe72000@yahoo.com
