Hi
I've recently returned to the UK from Australia, where I worked as a HSE Coordinator for a major contractor on road maintenance and construction projects. Since returning to the UK I have been assessed by IOSH as Tech IOSH, have passed the CSCS test at platinum level and have also started an MSc in Safety Health and Environmental Management at the University of Glamorgan (Currently on a full-time basis 2 afternoons and two evenings a week, but this can be changed at the end of November if need be)
I have found it extremely hard to break into the market and was wondering if any one had any pointers or possibly an opportunity that their looking for some one for, I'm pretty much willing to give most things a go.
Any help pointers opportunities would be greatly appreciated
Kevin

Syd,
There's a big construction project going on at the St Davids 2 shopping centre... might be an idea to find out who the PC and contractors are there and scout about?

Syd.
A good pointer to start with is to look at what agencies have to offer for the South Wales area, and to see if any of the Health and Safety Consultancies have any vacancies.
The SHP mag also has vacancies for the area, but my experience of these, are they are normally filled by the time the mag gets out.
