Hello all,
Looking for some sound advice!
I am currently working in the Oil and Gas Sector offshore Aberdeen. I have decided that I want to find employment closer to home which is Chester, North West Area.
I have a wide knowledge of most Health, Safety and Environmental subjects (not CDM) and I am looking to go into freelance training. Although I have no training Q’s I do have experience in developing and delivering training with Petro Chemical, Heavy Plant, and Aviation industry experience.
?? Q: I have no idea where to start or how to go about this aspiration. ??
If there is anyone out there that has done this, I would really appreciate your comments.
Kev

hi kevin,
have a look on the HSE's website www.hse.gov.uk they have a number of vacancies on thier site at the minute, but I think they have just closed a vacancy on the 6th Oct for Inspectors and I am not sure when they will be recruiting again.
Best of look mate

Kevin I would reword your original post; at first it looks like you want to work for the HSE, whereas I believe that you want to train IN HSE.
Getting work as an associate trainer should be relatively easy - you are paid by the day so they only pay you when you work for them.
Get your CV so sharp it will have your eye out, TWO PAGES MAX, then send it of to training organisations, telling them what you can train in, what experience you have, to what level, and what money you require.
