Posted By Russ Bland I've been looking at various Health & Safety vacancies in the Middle East (Dubai etc) many of which offer incredible tax-free salaries. I was just wondering if anyone out there had experience of working out there and what they thought of it. Some of these jobs are offering more in a month than I get in a year!

Posted By Guderian Plenty of advice on this board. Don't be taken in by the supposed high salaries - also high cost of living etc. Surely its only worth it, if after taking ALL additional costs into account, you are still MUCH better off than a job in the UK. The grass is not always greener

Posted By ianmilne69 The grass is always greener and but just as hard to cut! Have family and friends across there and hours are long, expat life is okay and worksites are 'something else'. Do several searches on this forum for UAE and Dubai. It will give you an indication. Its a frequent question asked!

Posted By GT Russ, I am and have been working here in the Middle East and Africa for ten years. If I can help with any questions please ask. Please also look at previous threads, this life is not for every one, there are many variables to be considered. GT

Posted By Dav Russ You dont have mail as it bounced back for some reason. Lots of positives and lots of negatives, but i would echo the previous post of the chances of being locked up of things go bad. Not good.
