Hi Guys

Its me again. Still looking for that break through. I really really want to get my foot in the door, however my competency level is my set back.

I used to work in a manufacturing/production company as a line supervisor in addition to some health and safety responsibilities. I became so passionate about health and safety i decided to take it up as a career. As at the time it felt i was in a dead end because there wasn't any career progression, so i left. However, during my previous employment these were the health and safety responsibilities in which i was involved;

Conducting Risk assessment
Accident Investigation
PPE Checks
Training and Assessing Staff
Attending Health and Safety meetings.
Conducting Inductions

In addition to all of the above i did some few In-house courses i.e. Train the trainer, IOSH Supervising Safely, Fire Safety Awareness and First Aider.

It has been almost a year and a half since i left that job due to the fact that i wanted to develop my commitment to health and safety as well as securing a full time health and safety job. I self funded my safety training by taking the Nebosh in Construction Course. I took this course because i wanted to know how health and safety fits into the construction industry. I must say it has been really rewarding.

At the moment i am a courier with the anticipation that one day i will secure a health and safety job.

So, this is the story of my life. If anyone wants to give me the opportunity i bet you i will bite their hand off.

Based in Nottingham and wiling to travel anywhere.

Thanks

Max
