Posted By chrisogmccann Hi,
I am considering completing the 3-Day CDM course. Has anybody else completed the course and did they learn anything new which they think they wouldnt? Any advice or information would be great. Like a lot of people here I have been made redundant, and I am looking to beef up my qualifications to gain new employment.

Posted By Tony abc jprhdnMurphy Its a really difficult question that. On the one hand you can cover all you need to know on CDM in about half an hour, on the other, you never stop learning CDM issues and their detailed complexities. I think there is evidence of that on the IOSH site where more CDM questions are raised than virtually any other topic. A 3 day CDM course does appear over the top but like every course, you only get the benefit if you are putting your learning into practice. I remember doing Microsoft Projects for 2 days and although the course was great Ive never used it since so in essence the course was a waste of money, and has not been put to good use.
