Would recommend a layout as :
Personal Details e.g. name, address, telephone no's. etc.
Qualifications
Experience e.g. in chronological order, starting with the most current, detailing your role and key responsibilities.
It seems to work well for me.

Posted By RHOES Hi Mark,
Deciding whether to put you qualifications or experience first depends on which you think are most impressive. If you are up against many applicants the person reading your CV may have many to get through in very little time. You want to grab their attention as early as possible and minimise any reason for them to reject your CV without reading it in full.
My qualifications far outway my experience and so I put these first. But I have colleagues for which the reverse is true.
Try and keep your CV to 2 pages max even if this requires playing around with the page set-up.
Also try to include a short personal profile before your qualifications and experience to give a brief overview of who you are. Keep it relevant to H&S, possibly a brief outline of your career objective and how you got to where you currently are.
Regards
Richard

Posted By TBC As other have said and - Try and keep it flexible enough to alter to each target job, away from the boring run-of-the-mill type of cv. Good luck

Posted By David Bannister I would add to the good advice given so far that including achievements early in the CV may be the hook that gets the CV read and put on the "look further" pile.
