Posted By Gus Black I am not sure about the detailed recognition of NEBOSH or other UK qualifications, but as a guide, the following information, (sourced from the web), provides an indication to the levels of Australian OHS qualifications o Certificate III provides training for line supervisors and safety representatives who have a role in OHS at the workplace eg. safety committee members. o Certificate IV is aimed at higher level supervisors, assistant safety officers or representatives. o Diploma level provides training for lower to middle level managers that have a major role in OHS in their organisations as safety officer/representative. There are also advanced diplomas, degrees, masters etc….. All qualifications have to meet the requirements of the Australian Qualifications Framework www.aqf.edu.au , and most providers seem to give the opportunity for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) There is also masses of information on the Australian Immigration website about skills recognition etc…. http://www.immi.gov.au/s...fety&searchButton=SearchYou might also try asking the question on the Safety institute of Australia forum http://www.sia.org.au/Hope this helps & Good Luck Gus
