Posted By Andrew Harrison Hi everyone, I am an Environmental Management and Geography graduate with the NEBOSH National General Certificate (Credit), IOSH Managing Safely Certificate and CIEH Basic Certificate. Having previously run a driving school for ten years and also worked in retail management, I am now trying to forge a career in health and safety. Currently, I have seven months experience within the Risk Management Department of two NHS Trusts. The majority of this work (six months) was voluntary, following advice to get some experience before applying for permanent employment. However, five months after finishing this voluntary work I am still being told that I don’t have enough experience for the entry level jobs for which I have applied. I am more than willing to gain further experience, even on a voluntary basis if necessary, to achieve my ambition of becoming a health and safety advisor. Consequently, I would be grateful if anyone, within reasonable travelling distance of Preston, Lancashire, would be able to help me out. I am available to start immediately. For further details or to request my CV, please contact me at: andrew@harrison3907.freeserve.co.uk Best regards Andrew.
