Good morning,

Just looking for some advice. Which course do you think will be better and for what reasons?
a) Nebosh Fire
b)Iosh Fire Risk Assessment Principles

I would like to know which will give me more practical knowledge. While I am under the impression Nebosh has a better standing for employment, I want a more practical course that I can apply which is sometimes missing in Nebosh courses.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi,

Whilst I have undertaken neither, I thought I would throw another few courses into the midst. I completed one accredited/approved by the Institute of Fire Engineers and another Fire protection association - On the basis they are more directly related to fire safety than NEBOSH or IOSH I would look to them for a course (I.e. getting a competant trainer!). Thats not to say the two you have mentioned are no good though!

Hello Andrew,

I would be grateful if you could please advise which courses these were. They sound more like what I am after.

Many thanks for your response.
