please help- requirements for CMIOSH

I'm a graduate and have completed my NEBOSH IGC, a year ago as of now I have 15 months of experience as a safety officer, I have bachelors degree in business management, which is nowhere related i guess!!. in short a complete Rookie to the field.
Aspiring to be a CMIOSH professional, is it necessary to do IDipNEBOSH (as far as my knowledge goes IDipNEBOSH and GradIOSH are equivalent)in order to qualify for CMIOSH. or ...will relevant experience in the industry help me?
Is there any Master's degree that would help me to prosper in the same career.
please let me know the pros and cons of CMIOSH.
and then how to go about it. where to start. ?

Peter's helpful link will do it. No cons all pros (IMHO) either degree (cognate) dip, or NVQ, all lead to eventual Grad IOSH, but in differing ways of course. As will progress through Initial Professional Development (IPD) to chartered membership.
Read the link and come back with any questions or speak directly to membership for any further clarification. And yes you are correct on your degree assumption.
