Posted By A Campbell Carn't help thinking... what a strange worded request from one with such an educational background!
Toby...
Africa is a very very big place... what kind of industry... what kind of environment ... what kind of experience may be of benefit to anyone who recruits in such countries across the African continent?
All the best in your quest!

Posted By MR97 Also are you looking for paid or voluntary? What languages to you speak and to what standard? What passport / family ties do you have as this will presumably affect where you can work long term.
Do you have knowledge of any of the countries laws you quals all look UK based?
When and for how long are you hoping to move for?
Good luck.

Used to chat to a Shell worker who was based in Nigeria (Port Harcourt) as we both had an interest in photography at that time.
Initially his whole family were out there with him but there were lots of hostages being taken so Shell flew the families home. A few months later the guy also left as he said it was getting dangerous for any westerner to work in the area. Granted that was a year or so ago so might have improved since then.
Could try to find out what organisations have offices out there and forward a copy of your CV with a covering letter..
Good Luck!

I have never visited africa before. Instead of just travelling it will be better for me to work there. Cheers
