I currently work as a Health and Safety Advisor in a College but the future of the role is uncertain with redundancy looming.

I have Nebosh Gen Cert., BSc Botany and Microbiology; Diploma in Computing I've passed my Unit A Nebosh Diploma (first attempt) while I'm waiting for the results of Unit B & C due in October, 2009.

My experience also include construction, pharmaceutical and cleaning.

Anything would do as the future is uncertain.

Thank you.

Before it all goes pear shaped can you get some trainer training, or FE teacher training? I notice many colleges are looking for part time lecturers in H&S. Have applied for some myself but as have no Qual for teaching / training delivery nothing has been progressed.

As I understand it, you can not teach a "NEBOSH" H&S course at a college unless you have the Diploma.

Kenneth - Nebosh GC is enough to teach the NEBOSH general certificate as long as you have 5 years experience and hold a teaching qualification - but NEBOSH must assess your CV first to approve it.

You must be at least GRADIosh to be lead tutor.

And you must be registered with IOSH!
