I am at present looking for my next challenge within the Health and Safety profession.

Currently I am the Laboratory Manager for a manufacturing company based in Merseyside; however I am looking to relocate to the Southern area of England (commutable from London) and develop my career in Health and Safety even further.

In my current employment I am actively involved with the health and safety of the company, carrying out inspections, risk assessments and advising the Managing Director in H&S compliance. The company produces cements for the lighting industry, moulding compounds and ceramics, it occupies nine warehouses with various industrial processes that need close monitoring to ensure compliance with current health and safety legislation; I am at present the lead person in the implementation of the OH&S management system for the company based on the requirements of OHSAS 18001:2007.

Recently I graduated with the NEBOSH Diploma with a credit grade and I am an Affiliate member of IOSH working to become a Graduate member, once IOSH has checked my qualifications and experience.

I have worked in many companies of various sizes in Colombia, Spain and England and I have clear understanding of manufacturing environment that I feel will be of great value for future challenges, I believe I have excellent communication skills and I am able to deal with people at all levels with great confidence, I am very flexible and accommodate easily into new environments. I definitely consider that I have the knowledge and experience to perform in the most effective and efficient manner.
