Posted By Tony Coxall I would say this depends on you, some people learn better in a class room environment. but if you need to be flexible the elearning is great but how disciplined are you, will you study. Also from personnel experience i have found the level of support is better from a class room environment than a elearning one. not to knock elearning but i personally could have done with the structure of a class room enviroment when i did my level 4.
Hope this helps
Tony

Posted By Neil Tilley I'm not advertising here. Just giving an overview of my findings whilst deciding on my diploma learning needs for 2010:
Google WATA - charity - Huntingdon. 20% off for self funders, so reasonably priced classroom attendance.
BSC -britsafe.org - They don't return calls, I'm frustrated but London now has the Hammersmith learning centre for diploma so as an institute I am looking at wata pricing I hope. If you have a recent (3 years) credit in cert - then a 4 week classroom learning is possible.
Shields and act - do the distance stuff reasonably.
ROSPA - I would recommend these guys solely based on respect for this very old society. I just feel proud of the 'britishness' and history here. Have you seen the old posters from the 1940's ? Fantastic.
