Can someone please help and have a look at my CV for me and make any recommendations as I am seeking a full time career in health and safety. I am Tech IOSH and will hopefully soon hold the NEBOSH diploma, just awaiting unit D results. I have a mixed career history most of it military so would appreciate some honest criticism. I’m hoping to register with a couple of good employment agencies, suggestions on any of these are more than welcome. To review my CV please email me and I will send it to you.

Thank you in advance.

Paul

Paul, rather than have a standard CV you may find it more effective to tailor the CV to suit the position being applied for e.g. highlighting your achievements, experience or qualifications that are relevant to the specific job or advert.

As far as an agency is concerned, if they are any good they should provide advice on what they expect to see in a CV.

Finally, I have no doubt that there will be some potential employers on this forum who will be happy to take a look at your CV. I am rather out of practice now.

Just to say a big thank you to all those who replied to my call for help.

I now feel my CV looks the part (it certainly needed a good make over) and I appreciate all the helpful and honest advice I received.

Now to put it to use.

Best Regards

Paul

Hi Paul,

As an ex military chap and working in the H&S field I, like the others on this forum, would be glad to offer advice to you.

Richard.
