Posted By Breian Oldham Is there regulation governing electrical equipment (hairdryers) provided for shower users in private clubs - in particular the proximity to water? Currently the dryers are wall mounted and "hard- wired" and the user simply holds the tube to the head. Manager wants to replace with standard plug-in dryers. Would be used on carpet in separate room from showers 10 ft away but with no door. Or is it down to risk assessment?
