Posted By Frank Bagnall I am new to the field of health and safety, and I have heard that latex gloves do not offer adequate protection when using benzene? Could anyone please advise if the same could apply to trimethyl benzene. much obliged Frank

Posted By Roy Macpherson Frank I have checked our chemical database and the recommended hand protection for benzene is nitrile and neoprene gloves along with warnings in very bold lettering that it is an extremely dangerous solvent! 1,2,3, trimethyl benzene has PVC for recommended hand protection.
