Posted By Ken Taylor Can anyone recommend an organisation in London or the South East that can provide training in the use of a range of woodworking machines?

Posted By Clive Richardson Hi Ken, Although I am based in Nottingham, I have woodworking machinery on my site. I arranged for the local college to do all my woodworking training. They were extremely helpfull and were able to tailor the course to our exact requirements. Hope this helps. Clive

Posted By Ian Minty How long does your course last? I'm only asking because two local colleges are offering courses. One lasts for a day, the other for two days. Looking at the content I'm tending to err on the side of caution and go for the two day course. But as usual we are being asked to justify this.

Posted By Bryn Maidment Ken Have you tried Avery Hill Campus, Sidcup (part of University of Greenwich)? They do a lot of woodworking courses for LEAs. I'm sorry but I don't have a contact number for them. Regards Bryn

Posted By Ken Taylor Thanks, Clive & Bryn. I shall follow up the leads. Recommendations are always useful - having seen some college practices in past years!
