HELP!! Can anyone suggest a non slip covering for a wooden laminate floor without being detrimental to the aesthectics. I am thinking of a smart new florist, lovely displays and plenty of customers. Think water on the floor!!
Thanks

The surface treatments all seem to relate to tiled, stone and concrete floors. Extruded plastic mesh (eg Heronrib) would, presumably, be unacceptable ( and would keep the water in contact with your expensive wood. How about the rubber-backed short-pile absorbent mats? These come in various shades of green these days. Try Denis Rawlins Ltd on 07000 628846 re 'Waterhog' mats.

Hi Peter
I have just purchased some SAFE STEP anti-slip spray from Rocol site safety systems, it is a clear aerosol spray and costs a tenner a tin, so it's cheap and should look good, it is supposed to last up to 12 months per application but I guess it depends on how much wear is present, we are due to apply it this week, Rocol distribute through the Brewers chain of decorators shops.
Contact them on 0113 232 2850 or check out their web site by putting Rocol in your search engine.
I hope that helps
Chris.
