Posted By Ken Clark Does anyone have any information on the controls required for the fine powdered glass produced as a result of edge grinding sheets of glass? Ken Clark

Posted By Jim Walker I used to work for a manufacturer that did this. However our grinders were water cooled/lubricated so there was no dust kicked up, just a sludge. Maybe you should consider alternative techniques rather than control the hazard.

Posted By Robert Woods Most glass beveling and cutting machines use water to remove the problem of dust as far as I am aware. Although when cutting laminated glass a heat gun should be used to seal the glass after the cut which apparently takes care of the dust by melting it into the laminate film. Robert Woods..
