We are an engieeering firm operating from several sites. We have just aquired a 3 tonne truck and driver to transfer parts between the sites, rather than use contractors.
Can anyone provide me with safe systems of work for this activity, rather than me re-invent the wheel - OK I'm just idle.
General stuff - manual handling, driving etc is in place.

Jim,
It is difficult to give generic safe systems of work or risk assessments. By their very definition they should be specific to your site and associated activites. Cribbing someone elses will almost certainly not cover all the risks associated with your work.
A safe system of work covers all aspects of a job: procedures, training, engineering controls, supervision, monitoring etc. etc. So someone elses safe system will not be applicable to your environment unless your premises, activities, staffing etc are exactly the same.
