I'm having problems locating information on the NOTIFICATION procedures to the Irish based Health & Safety Authority for removal contractors and supervisors (e.g. UKAS accredited analytical company) holding a HSE or Irish equivalent licence?
I'm aware that a 14-day notification is required in the UK for both parties engaged in asbestos removal (where required). But I’m specifically after guidelines that highlight the requirements for licensed supervisors
Does anybody have any ideas?

Try the Health Safety Authoritys Web site at HSA.IE.

Richard, Irish regs are very similar to UK ones except that you must provide 28 days notification to the HSA and you must provide a detailed method statement of the method of removal & disposal. The HSA web site as mentioned before has some info. The actual legisaltion is available on www.irlgov.ie/ag/ - You want Irish Statute Book. Disposal can be very expensive as it usually goes abroad - so be warned.
