Posted By Diane Warne At a conference some years ago, I heard about a research tool that was some kind of survey about people's attitude to H&S in an organisation. I can now find no reference to it. Can anyone help? Also has anyone done such a survey and if so, was it useful?

Posted By Dave Garioch The HSE produced a Climate Survey Tool back in 1997. You could try HSE books for a copy. I have not used the software so am unable to comment on how good it is. Hope that helps

Posted By clive bradburn Dianne I constructed an attitude survey as part of my MSc research degree with Birmingham University (1999) and my colleague at work is just completing her PhD on safety attitudes within a Government Department.Whilst we didn't use climate tools we did use acedemic attitude measurements. We both were looking at attitudes in relation to perception of risk ,in my case more to do with individual perceptions and my colleague more to the organisational structure. If you want more info contact me on clive.bradburn@virgin.net. Clive
