Posted By Zoe Barnett I've been contacted by one of my schools who told me that they approached a reputable first aid trainer to book the four day course. However the trainer told them that this was no longer "in accordance with the regulations" and that in fact they'd have to do a fifth day on resusscitation (or however you spell it.) I had heard that this was being discussed but was not aware of it having come into force. I checked with the HSE InfoLine and FAAMS (the branch that approves first aid courses) and they told me that they had not changed their criteria for first aid at work courses. I thought colleagues may be interested in this in case they hear of similar information being given.
