We need to conduct PAT on a company wide, (7 Regions througout the country),basis, I have two avenues open, do I use a contractor? or is the ParkerBell PAC 500SP up to the job legally and practicably? Has anyone one prior knowledge of this machine, your input would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Graham
I think the issue is not the machine but the competency of the person carrying out the test.
First look at HSE guidance to see what needs testing and when. You should them be able to calculate the costs and compare.
We have tried both approaches and found the contactor route very expensive

The tool hire company I work for has taken delivery of some ParkerBell PAC500's which we hire on a daily basis, these machines seemed to have caused a bit of a stir with my customers and has lead into several sales of these machines.
I am impressed with the simplicity of the machine, but do stress during demonstrations that you must be self critical, and also question the competence of those making the test, usually we find maintence departments and engineers.
