I'm looking for information on any limitations on routing of telephone cables and similar near/next to 240v supplies. Is it ok to put these in the same ducting or run them along side each other in roof or floor voids?
Thanks

Hi Stephen,
What type of telephone cabling are you thinking of? If it is CAT5E cabling, then there is no problem, although if it is the main link from the service provider's (BT?) termination point, to your telephone switch, you may want to consider using shielded CAT5E cabling for this to cut down on any potential interference.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Nick.

Thanks for the response. I should have made it clear I am only interested in safety issues and not any interference which may be caused by routing different cables close together
