I am looking for companies that can develop a software driven Permit to Work system which is specific to our company requirements (oil and gas company). Does anybody know of any such companies? (at this stage I am concerned with customised system development, rather than training software or an "off-the-shelf" system).

We designed our own PTW and put it on our intranet system, all using standard microsoft software. I understand that you do not have to purchase expensive software systems these days!

Chris, most of the Electricity Generating Utilities use NISoft, a product custom designed may years ago within the industry, and now updated substantisally to cater for modern high risk activities. It really works and is based around a lock-out and key safe system which has not failed in a long time. So if you need a 'proper' system don't look any further! I am sure you will find their details on the web.
