Posted By Ken Urquhart Larry, Try the following sites. www.oshvn.net/index.htm or www.oshvn.net/en/indexeng.htm Not sure that there are any immediately Vietnamese worded posters and advisory leaflets on these sites, but there should be enough contact information for Vietnamese Govt Agencies and the Viet media etc to enable you to find sonmething suitable. Also there is a link through the ILO with APOSHO (Asia Pacific Occupational Safety and Health Organisation) I am based in Hong Hong. Whilst the HK Labour Dept Occupational Health and Safety Section produces guidance in cantonese it is, as is often the case, not ideally suited to a specific work site or work task. With the help of my HK safety officers we devise, prepare and produce in Cantonese, Safety Posters and Banners here on the Project site. We use Power Point and can print them A4, A3 and up to 48" x 36" using the CAD and drawing plotter printer. Perhaps if you are unable to find ready published material you can develop your own using similar methods and with Vietnamese speakers help with the Language and symbols etc. The Vietnamese Govt sites give you the Legislative background and this information should enable you to create your own story boards and scripts and thus build up a Library of Presentations appropriate to your needs. We find that developing local material stylised to our Project but communicating the local legislative requirements and best practices is worth the effort, hope if you try you find the same. Hope this is of some help. I can e-mail you some Poster Examples if that would be of interest, please let me know. If you or your Organisation requires actual assistance in Vietnam, I could be available on a Consultancy basis from August, please contact me by e-mail to discuss. Regards.
